Its not smokey like it used to be. They installed a different ventilation system. Owners are not rude, so if you, as a band thought you were treated bad, maybe it's because you have to be nice also. They wont give preferential treatment just because youre in the band. Excellent food/bartenders/waitresses and treats with respect especially if you give respect in return.

It's a divey little bar. It has that low lit, smoky atmosphere that reminds you of every small town in Indiana. The beer is cheap. The food is decent pub food (sandwhichs, burgers, flatbreads, etc.).
Not a bad place. Servers were nice but just mediocre. -

A little dive-y and definitely smoky, but that's okay! We like these kinds of laid-back bars where you can talk to each other and watch the game and play pull-tabs and eat good bar food. Friendly bartenders. But remember, smoking is allowed here, so if that's a turn off, then this is not your bar. The restroom smells awful, so if you have to poop--no worries! The smell will be masked by the natural scent of the restroom!

There are very few positive remarks I can make for Dupont Bar & Grill. After ordering a beer that falls outside the realm of domestic light beers confusion ensued either with my order or communication behind the bar because it took several trips back to my table to reconfirm my order or to tell me it was on the way. After finally receiving my drink, I ordered the nachos with salsa and sour cream that is extra cost. Nothing extraordinary about the nachos but the salsa and sour cream got to my table 10 minutes later. They are outside of city limits so smoking indoors is allowed. I would not recommend this venue for live music either. The sound and microphones were not high quality. Be prepared to smell like smoke and not have good service by goong here. Find a better place for live music.

Bartenders and servers are awesome! Always have the best time! These guys are so down to earth and easy to get along with. Favorite place!
